CERESIT CT 19 is a water-based concrete contact primer that builds a strong bonding layer on smooth and non-absorbent surfaces before tiling, screeding or filling. Made by Henkel, this ready-to-use primer suits both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates, indoors and out. Supplied in a 25 kg pack.
Powerful adhesion for smooth, difficult surfaces
CERESIT CT 19 forms an abrasive, non-slip bonding layer that boosts grip where ordinary primers fail. It is ideal for smooth concrete, ceramic tiles, mosaics and OSB boards, and makes indoor tile-on-tile installation secure.
Fast-drying, solvent-free primer
CT 19 dries quickly and contains no solvents, so you can move on to adhesive or screed soon after priming. It is ready to use — just shake and apply, with no additives to mix in.
Thixotropic — for walls and floors
CERESIT CT 19 is thixotropic and does not run off vertical surfaces, making wall work easier. It applies smoothly with a brush or roller in a thin coat on both horizontal and vertical substrates.
Indoor and outdoor use, before tiles and screeds
CT 19 prepares the substrate before ceramic tiles, levelling screeds and fillers. It works on concrete, natural stone, dispersion and epoxy coatings, and surfaces with adhesive residues (indoor use only).
