The CERESIT CT 19 Betonkontakt is a ready-to-use, water-based contact primer for both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates. It forms a rough bonding layer that boosts adhesion before tiling, screeding or filling. It is ideal for smooth, difficult surfaces such as polished concrete, ceramic tiles, mosaics and OSB boards.

CERESIT CT 19 builds a tacky, abrasive layer that improves adhesion where ordinary primers fail to grip. It works on polished concrete, ceramic tiles, mosaics and OSB boards. It solves the classic renovation challenge of laying new tile over existing tile indoors.
Ready to use, easy to apply by brush or roller
The CT 19 primer comes ready to use — just shake the pail and apply a thin, even coat with a brush or roller. No additives are needed, and tools clean up with water right after use. Its fast drying shortens the wait between priming and the next step.
Thixotropic — no run-off on vertical walls
CERESIT CT 19 is thixotropic and stays put on vertical surfaces, so it applies cleanly to both walls and floors. Being water-based and solvent-free, it suits indoor and outdoor use. Coverage is economical at 0.1 to 0.3 kg/m² depending on the substrate.
