Ready-to-use bonding primer for smooth and non-absorbent surfaces

Baumit SuperPrimer is a high-quality, ready-to-use primer with quartz sand for weakly absorbent, non-absorbent and very smooth surfaces. It forms a strong bond with the substrate and a rough surface for the next coating — ideal before levelling compounds, plasters, fillers and tile-on-tile installation. The 5 kg tub covers roughly 16 m² and is handy for home renovations.

Bonding bridge for non-absorbent surfaces

Baumit SuperPrimer is made specifically for weakly and non-absorbent as well as very smooth surfaces where ordinary primers fail to grip. The quartz sand in the mix creates a rough surface that the next coating bonds to firmly.

Ready to use, solvent-free

Baumit SuperPrimer is one-component and ready to apply — just stir it with a low-speed mixer until the quartz sand is evenly distributed. It goes on easily with a roller, brush or suitable machine, and the solvent-free formula is comfortable to use indoors.

Yellow colour for visual coverage control

Baumit SuperPrimer is tinted yellow, so you can clearly see which areas are already primed and miss no spot. On a non-absorbent surface consumption is about 150 g/m², and the next coating is applied from 30 minutes up to no later than 48 hours.

Versatile for walls, floors and ceilings

Baumit SuperPrimer works both indoors and outdoors — on walls, floors and concrete ceilings. Use it before levelling compounds, hand- and machine-applied lime-cement and gypsum plasters, fillers, and for tile-on-tile bonding when renovating a bathroom.
