The Baumit Baumacol (Baumit Grund) 5 kg is a solvent-free, water-based universal primer that prepares mineral substrates before tile adhesives, paints and self-levelling floor compounds. It evens out how much the surface absorbs and improves the adhesion of the layers that follow. The deep-penetrating formula is tinted blue so you can clearly see where you have already primed.

The Baumit Baumacol formula is water-based and solvent-free, which makes it comfortable to use indoors. It thins with water to match how absorbent the substrate is.

The deep-penetrating Baumit Baumacol primer evens out the absorbency of mineral substrates and acts as a bonding bridge on strongly absorbent surfaces. This lets the adhesive or screed set evenly without drying out too fast.
Blue tint for complete coverage
The Baumit Baumacol primer is tinted blue so you can easily track the areas you have treated. An economical consumption of about 0.15 kg/m² means the 5 kg tub covers a large surface.
