CERESIT CT 17 is a solvent-free, water-based deep-penetrating primer that prepares surfaces before tiling, filling and painting. It strengthens the surface, binds dust and reduces the absorbency of walls, floors and ceilings. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Deep penetration that strengthens the surface
CERESIT CT 17 penetrates deep into the substrate and reinforces its surface, binding loose dust for better adhesion of the next layer. Adhesives, fillers and paints grip securely, reducing the risk of cracks and peeling.
For all absorbent surfaces, indoors and out
CT 17 primer works on concrete, aerated concrete, gypsum and cement plasters, screeds, plasterboard and ceramic surfaces. It performs equally well indoors and outdoors, making it a versatile choice for renovations and new builds.
Easy application and fast drying
CERESIT CT 17 is applied directly with a brush or roller and dries fast — on cement substrates work can continue just 15 minutes after priming. On highly absorbent surfaces the primer can be diluted with clean water at a 1:1 ratio.
