SIKA SikaLatex S Emulsion is a waterproof, synthetic-emulsion admixture for concrete and cement mortars, supplied in a 5 kg pack. Mixed with cement, sand and water, it creates a bonding bridge between old and new concrete and improves site-made renders, plasters, screeds and repair mortars. SikaLatex S strengthens the mix and reduces cracking.
Bonding bridge between old and new concrete
SikaLatex S forms a reliable bonding bridge that ties fresh concrete to an already cured surface. It is mixed with water, cement and sand, applied by brush or spray, and the new layer is placed wet-on-wet. Ideal for construction joints and concrete repair work.
Higher strength and less cracking
The admixture improves the mechanical strength of mortars, especially flexural tensile strength and tensile adhesion. SikaLatex S reduces shrinkage and cracking in thin cement screeds and other building mixes, extending the life of the repair.
Versatile on-site use
SikaLatex S suits renders and plasters, floor screeds and repair mortars mixed directly on site. On smooth concrete substrates it saves the costly roughening of the surface. It is diluted with water in different ratios to match each application.
Waterproof emulsion, easy to apply
SikaLatex S is a white, synthetic-emulsion liquid suitable for most standard building substrates. Tools clean up with water immediately after use. The product keeps for 12 months at +5 °C to +30 °C, protected from frost and direct sunlight.
