GARDEX Telescopic Loppers with Aluminium Handles, 710-1000 mm
Cuts branches up to 30 mm thick and extends to reach high limbs without a ladder.
The GARDEX telescopic loppers (item 224340) combine bypass blades with aluminium handles that extend from 710 to 1000 mm. They are made for pruning fruit trees, ornamental shrubs and vines with branches up to 30 mm in diameter.
Telescopic handles for out-of-reach limbs
The handles adjust to the task: retracted for precise cuts inside a dense crown, extended for branches above head height. Extending them also increases the leverage available on thicker wood.
Bypass blades for clean cuts on live wood
The two blades pass each other like scissors and slice the stem instead of crushing it. On living wood such a cut heals faster, which is why bypass loppers are the choice for shaping trees and shrubs.
Aluminium handles for overhead work
Aluminium keeps the tool light at its full 1000 mm length, which matters when cutting with raised arms. The material will not rust when the loppers are stored in a shed or carport.
