Single-coat gypsum plaster for smooth interior walls and ceilings.
KNAUF Rotband is a manual gypsum plaster for interior walls and ceilings that levels and prepares the surface for finishing in a single coat. It suits all rooms with normal humidity, including domestic bathrooms and kitchens. Supplied as a dry mix in a 30 kg bag that is mixed with water on site.
Single-coat application from 5 to 50 mm
KNAUF Rotband goes on in one coat and levels even sizable irregularities — the average thickness is 10 mm and up to 50 mm where needed. Walls and ceilings are then ready for painting or tiling without extra levelling layers.
Strong adhesion to concrete and masonry
The special lightweight additives in Rotband improve adhesion, so the plaster bonds firmly to reinforced-concrete ceilings, walls and precast elements. It is especially handy for renovation work over various existing substrates.
Long open working time of about 1.5 h
Rotband stays workable for about 1 to 1.5 hours after mixing, giving you time to pull, level and smooth the surface. The plastic material allows smooth, textured or drawn finishes to match the look you want.
Suitable for domestic bathrooms and kitchens
KNAUF Rotband is vapour-permeable and resistant to impact, pressure and nail driving, making it dependable for everyday use. It is applied in all rooms with normal humidity, including domestic bathrooms and kitchens.
