RIGIPS Model Gips 5 kg Filling & Finishing Plaster
White fine-grade plaster for casts, decorative details and indoor repairs.
Rigips Model Gips is a white, fine powder plaster in a 5 kg bag for levelling interior walls, filling cavities and casting decorative elements. It mixes with water alone at 2 kg of powder per litre and is applied by hand with a trowel.
99% under 315 μm for a smooth finish
The fine powder produces a dense, lump-free mix suitable for drawing cornices, rosettes and small casts for hobby or restoration work. The material is white gypsum, fire reaction class A1 to EN 13279-1.
10–15 minute working time per batch
Pour the powder into clean water, let it soak for about a minute, then mix by hand or with a paddle to a homogeneous paste. Do not re-mix, as this shortens setting time; thin the mix with water only if needed.
Coverage of 1 kg per m² at 1 mm thickness
A 5 kg bag covers roughly 5 m² at 1 mm, enough for patching plug holes, cable channels and local irregularities before painting. Apply with air, substrate and material between +5 °C and +35 °C in a ventilated room without strong draughts.
