RIGIPS Rifix Gypsum Adhesive 25 kg for Plasterboard and Insulation Panels
Up to 60 minutes of open time to align each board calmly before the mix sets.
RIGIPS Rifix 25 kg gypsum adhesive bonds plasterboard and insulation panels directly onto interior brick, concrete and aerated-concrete walls. No metal framing is needed: the dry-lining technique works with a layer from 1 to 20 mm.
Dry lining without metal framing
Boards are dabbed straight onto the wall, saving both profiles and installation time. A 1 to 20 mm layer takes up the unevenness of old masonry and levels the surface ready for filling.
45–60 minutes of open time for precise fitting
Once mixed, the adhesive stays workable long enough to set and align a full board from a single batch. Working temperature is 10 to 25 °C.
Brick, concrete and aerated concrete with one mix
The gypsum base grips brickwork, concrete, aerated concrete, plasterboard and gypsum-fibre boards. On smooth concrete, prime the substrate first with Ri-Kombikontakt.
Bonding thermal and acoustic insulation panels
Beyond the lining itself, Rifix also fixes insulation panels to interior walls. Consumption is 5.5–6 kg/m² depending on substrate absorption, so a 25 kg bag covers roughly 4 m².
