The Makita PJ7000J plate joiner is a woodworking tool that cuts accurate slots for flat connecting biscuits in solid timber, MDF and furniture panels. Its 700 W motor and Ø 100 mm blade produce clean grooves up to 20 mm deep. It ships in a MakPac case with a dust bag and an adjustable fence for fast height setting.

The Makita PJ7000J plate joiner spins its blade at 11000 rpm, handling solid wood, MDF and laminated panels with ease. The high speed delivers a smooth cut with no chipping along the slot edge. It suits everyday joinery and furniture assembly.
Ø 100 mm blade and slot depth up to 20 mm
The Ø 100 mm, 6-tooth blade with a 22 mm bore cuts grooves up to 20 mm deep. That covers the standard connecting biscuit sizes used in tops, shelves and frames. The depth setting adjusts to match the biscuit number.
Compact 2.5 kg body for easy guiding
At 2.5 kg and 302 mm long, the Makita PJ7000J plate joiner is easy to guide with one hand and presses firmly against the workpiece. The light body reduces fatigue when cutting many joints in a row. The adjustable fence sets the exact slot height from the edge.
MakPac case and dust bag included
The PJ7000J version comes in a MakPac case that clips onto other cases in the system for tidy transport. A dust bag and a rotating extraction port are included to clear chips away. Dust extraction keeps the work surface and your marking line clean.
