BOSCH Professional GLM 50-27 CG Laser Measure, 50 m, Green Laser, Bluetooth

A green laser dot that stays visible in bright interiors, across a 50 m range.

The BOSCH Professional GLM 50-27 CG laser measure covers 0.05 to 50 m with typical accuracy of ±1.5 mm and stores up to 30 readings. Its 515 nm green laser dot reads far more clearly than red over long distances in bright interiors, while the IP65-rated body with shock-absorbing rubber casing is built for rough jobsites. Measurements transfer over Bluetooth to the Bosch MeasureOn app.

The human eye picks up this wavelength far more strongly than red, so the dot is easy to spot at the far end of a well-lit room. Laser class 2, beam divergence below 1.5 mrad.

IP65 housing survives 1.5 m drops

The rubber casing absorbs impact on concrete, and protection against dust and water jets allows use on open construction sites. The tool rides in a work-trouser pocket without extra packaging.

Bluetooth to Bosch MeasureOn for documentation

Each reading goes straight into the floor plan on a smartphone or tablet, with no numbers copied by hand. The onboard memory holds 30 values when the phone is not nearby.

0–360° tilt sensing and audible confirmation

The built-in sensor reads angles in four 90° steps with ±0.2° accuracy, covering indirect measurements past obstacles. Sound and vibration feedback confirms a successful reading without looking at the display.

Runs on 2 AA batteries, 1/4" tripod thread

Power comes from two standard 1.5 V LR6 cells, available anywhere and swapped on the spot. The 1/4" thread underneath takes a tripod for repeated measurements from a fixed point.
