The Bosch Professional GRL 400 H is a rotary laser level built for horizontal levelling outdoors — excavations, footings, formwork and landscaping. It uses a red laser beam, runs from a single-button keypad and covers a site up to 400 m in diameter together with the LR 1 receiver. The kit arrives in a carrying case with the LR 1 receiver, a BT 170 HD building tripod and a GR 240 measuring rod.

The Bosch GRL 400 H starts from a single button, with self-explanatory LEDs showing its status at a glance. Electronic self-levelling aligns the beam automatically, so your reference line is ready minutes after the tripod goes up.

Accuracy of ± 2.4 mm at 30 m for dependable heights

A deviation of just ± 2.4 mm at 30 m keeps your heights within tolerance on formwork, slabs and grading. The LR 1 receiver picks up the beam far beyond the visible range and confirms it with clear audible and visual signals.

ADS shock warning — no hidden levelling errors

The shock warning function of the GRL 400 H reacts if the tool is knocked or shifted by vibration. Instead of quietly handing you a wrong height, the laser alerts you so you can re-check and carry on with confidence.

IP56 protection for open jobsites

The housing of this rotary laser carries IP56 protection against dust and water jets, so trench dust and rain do not stop the job. The battery tray swaps out without moving the tool, keeping your set reference intact.
