The MAKITA UR3000 electric grass trimmer delivers 450 W and a 30 cm cutting width for tidying lawns around paths, fences and trees. At 2.6 kg with a telescopic aluminium shaft, it adjusts to the operator's height for longer comfortable sessions. It runs off mains power and comes with a guard and a dual-line 1.65 mm head.
Edger function with 180°-rotating head
The motor head turns so the line stands vertical to the turf, cutting a clean line along paths, kerbs and borders in a single pass. Switching modes needs no tools and is done on the spot.
Telescopic aluminium shaft, 1016–1256 mm
The shaft extends by more than 20 cm and the adjustable loop handle locks at the chosen height, keeping posture upright even when working under shrubs. The aluminium build holds total weight at 2.6 kg without the cable.
Dual-line head with bump-and-feed (Tap & Go)
Two 1.65 mm nylon lines cut from both sides at 9,000 rpm no-load speed. A light tap of the head on the ground feeds fresh line without stopping or dismantling anything.
Double insulation for mains-powered work
The housing is double insulated, and the 0.3 m power cord with plug connects to a garden extension lead sized to your plot. Sound pressure level at the operator is 75.1 dB(A) with vibration of 2.7 m/s².
