The STIHL FSA 135 AP cordless brushcutter runs on 36 V batteries from the STIHL AP system and covers a 42 cm cutting circle. It ships as a bare tool — no battery and no charger — so you pair it with the AP or backpack AR battery you prefer.
Bike handle for wide, sweeping cuts
The two-arm handle supports the natural sweeping motion of mowing and adjusts and locks without tools. A harness eyelet takes the strain of the 4.9 kg tool off your arms.
Three power settings with LED indication
Speed is set steplessly from the control handle, without moving your hand or stopping work. A lower setting saves energy and extends runtime per charge, with the eco mode shown by an LED.
EC motor and metal-mesh air filter for long service life
The brushless EC motor delivers 1 kW of mechanical power, a comparable figure to a petrol unit in this class. The fine metal-mesh air filter keeps motor cooling optimal and can be cleaned again and again instead of replaced.
Rain-ready IPX4 protection
The housing is tested against splashing water from all sides, so daily use in wet weather is no obstacle. The ergonomic release button enables the throttle only once pressed and switches off if work does not start within 5 seconds.
Compatible with STIHL AP and AR batteries
Approved batteries are the STIHL AP packs and the STIHL AR backpack units, with AP 300 S and AR 2000 recommended. A dedicated slot in the housing takes the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A, which sends tool data to the STIHL connected app.
