The BLACK+DECKER ST182320-QW cordless string trimmer runs on an 18 V lithium-ion battery from the POWERCONNECT range and cuts a 25 cm swath. A 2.0 Ah battery and charger are included, with 1.5 mm line that feeds automatically as you work.

90° head rotation for clean edges

The trimmer switches from horizontal mowing to vertical edging along paths, kerbs and flower beds. A guide wheel keeps the head at a steady height as you follow the edge.

25 cm cutting width with 1.5 mm line

The reach suits home yards and gardens — grass around trees, fences and garden furniture where a mower cannot reach. The line advances automatically, with no stopping to pull it out by hand.

POWERCONNECT 18 V battery shared across tools

The single 2.0 Ah pack also powers other tools in the POWERCONNECT 18 V range, so there is no need for a separate charger per machine. The charger is supplied in the box.

2.9 kg weight and telescopic shaft

The aluminium shaft extends to match the user's height, and the folding handle makes the unit easy to hang in a garage or shed. Cordless and fuel-free operation removes any dependence on sockets and extension leads.
