The WARMCOIN WCM 15.0 m² cable heating mat is a twin-conductor electric underfloor heating system rated at 160 W/m² on a 230 V supply. The heating cable is pre-fixed to a 50 cm wide mesh, 30 m long in total, covering 15 m² in bathrooms, hallways, kitchens or living rooms. It works as primary or supplementary heating under ceramic tiles, terracotta and porcelain stoneware.
Set into tile adhesive, no screed needed
The mat is thin enough to be laid in a 5–8 mm tile adhesive bed, and it can also be embedded in self-levelling compound where required. The 2.5–4 mm cable sits on a mesh that rolls straight onto the prepared substrate. A practical choice for bathroom refurbishments where floor height is tight.
160 W/m² for even heat across the floor
The cable is factory-spaced at a constant pitch on the mesh, spreading heat without cold spots. Total installed output is 2400 W, sized for 15 m² of heated area. The twin-conductor design has a single cold tail, so only one connection runs back to the thermostat.
Control via thermostat and floor sensor
The mat is wired through a thermostat with a floor sensor, holding temperature to within ±1 °C. A conduit with an end cap for the sensor is included, so the probe sits in the floor and stays replaceable. The thermostat is purchased separately, and an RCD plus earthing are recommended for the circuit.
Suitable for wet rooms and shower areas
The screened, earthed heating cable may be installed in bathrooms and tiled walk-in showers, provided the floor waterproofing is done. It must not be laid under a bathtub or a shower tray. The heating cable is never cut or shortened: cut only the mesh and turn the run to fit the room.
