WARMCOIN WCM 1.0 m² Electric Underfloor Heating Mat, 160 W, 230 V
Sets straight into the tile adhesive without raising the floor level.
The WARMCOIN WCM heating mat covers 1.0 m² of heated floor and runs off a standard 230 V supply. The heating cable is pre-fixed to a 50 cm wide fibreglass mesh, so the roll simply unrolls over a clean, primed subfloor. It works with a thermostat and floor sensor, purchased separately.
Thin build-up inside the tile adhesive layer
No separate screed is needed: roughly 5–8 mm of adhesive above the cable is enough. Room height and door thresholds stay essentially unchanged, which matters most when refurbishing an existing bathroom or hallway. Suitable finishes are ceramic tiles, terracotta and porcelain stoneware.
160 W/m² for primary or supplementary heating
This output is enough for a comfortably warm tiled floor in a bathroom, kitchen or hallway, and with correct sizing it can serve as the only heat source in a small room. Aim to cover 80–90% of the free floor area, leaving out zones under a bathtub, shower tray or plinth-mounted furniture.
Twin-conductor cable with a single cold tail
Only one cold tail runs to the thermostat, which means fewer chases in the wall and simpler wiring. The mesh may be cut to turn the roll around a niche or WC; the heating cable itself must never be cut or shortened, as that changes its resistance.
In the box: conduit with end cap for the floor sensor
The sensor sits inside the conduit between two adjacent cable runs and stays replaceable once the tiles are down. The thermostat itself is mounted in a dry room, and installation and operating instructions are included in the pack.
