The Bosch Professional GKE 18V-40 cordless chainsaw runs on the Bosch Professional 18V System and the AMPShare battery alliance, and is supplied as a body only. A 40 cm bar and 12.4 m/s chain speed cover on-site carpentry as well as tree and garden work — with no exhaust fumes and no cable in the way.

OptiCut keeps the cut going under load

The electronics monitor the workload and adjust speed and torque instead of letting the chain stall mid-cut. Deep cuts in beams or damp timber run through evenly to the end.

Brushless motor with 91 dB(A) sound pressure

Exhaust-free running at a lower noise level allows cutting in residential areas and on company premises where petrol saws are a problem. The brushless design has no carbon brushes to replace and needs minimal maintenance.

Electronic motor brake stops the chain on release

The chain is halted within a fraction of a second in the event of kickback, too. Metal bumper spikes bite into the trunk and keep the cutting line under control.

Scrench stored on the tool itself

The combination wrench sits in a holder on the housing, ready for every tensioning job on site. The translucent 150 ml oil tank shows the level at a glance and is leakage-free.
