The Makita BO5041 is a corded random orbit sander built for professional use, with a 300 W motor and a 125 mm sanding pad. Its random orbital action sands quickly and leaves a swirl-free surface on wood, paint and filler. Variable speed lets you match the pace to each material.
Variable speed for every material
A speed dial adjusts the pace across 4,000–12,000 orbits per minute. Lower speeds protect delicate surfaces and coatings, while higher speeds remove material fast. The Makita BO5041 handles both rough stock removal and fine finishing.
125 mm hook-and-loop pad for quick disc changes
The 125 mm pad uses a hook-and-loop backing with 8 dust-extraction holes. Swapping abrasive discs takes seconds, and the pad control system limits speed on start-up for a controlled, accurate start.
Dust collection for a cleaner workspace
Dust is drawn through the pad holes into a bag or routed to a vacuum via the outlet port. Less airborne dust means clearer sight of the workpiece and a tidier finish. The removable system keeps the Makita BO5041 practical for long sessions.
