The Ideal Standard Idealrain Alu+ BD580XG is a Ø100 mm hand shower in a matt black finish with two spray modes, SilkRain and Rain. Its G 1/2" nut connects to any standard shower hose, so it replaces an existing handset without plumbing work. Easy Clean silicone nozzles wipe free of limescale with a fingertip.

Two spray modes for different showering moments

The Idealrain Alu+ offers two functions: Rain, a wide full-body downpour, and SilkRain, a soft silky curtain of water. You switch modes right on the handset, so the spray follows what you need — a quick rinse or a long unwind.

Matt black finish designed by Palomba Serafini

The slim handset is styled by Palomba Serafini Associati, and its matt black finish pairs with black taps, hoses and accessories. The matt surface stays glare-free and shows fewer water spots than a polished one.

Easy Clean nozzles and Ecoflow water use

Soft silicone nozzles release limescale with a single wipe, keeping the spray pattern even for years. Ecoflow technology holds the flow at 8 l/min at 3 bar, so you use less hot water for the same comfort.

Fits standard G 1/2" shower hoses

The handset screws on with a G 1/2" nut and works with any standard shower hose — for example the matt black Ideal Standard BE175XG for a matching look. At 0.17 kg it is light in the hand and suits ordinary wall holders.
