The Dr. Starke DS Scheibenenteiser windscreen de-icer clears ice and frost from frozen car windows and gets you back to clear visibility in minutes. The 500 ml spray bottle fits easily in the glovebox or boot, ready for frosty mornings.
De-icing at temperatures down to -30 °C
Spray it evenly over the frozen surface from roughly 15 cm away. After a short contact time the ice starts to thaw and lifts off the glass with a quick wipe or scrape.
Methanol-free and safe on paint, rubber and polycarbonate
The ethanol-based, methanol-free formula is fully biodegradable. It won't attack car paint, rubber seals or polycarbonate glazing, so it can also be used on plastic headlight covers.
Spray the night before to cut overnight icing
Applied to the windows the evening before, it reduces the ice that forms overnight. It also frees frozen door locks, and the blue, citrus-scented liquid leaves a fresh smell rather than a harsh chemical one.
