The DEWALT DW733-QS portable thicknesser is a benchtop machine for professional woodworking, bringing boards to an exact, repeatable thickness. A 1800 W motor and a cutterhead spinning at 10000 rpm handle stock up to 317 mm wide and 152 mm thick. Built for professional daily use in joinery shops and on site.

1800 W motor for full-width boards

The DW733-QS runs a 1800 W motor that holds its speed even across the full cutting width. You can bring worktops, stair treads and furniture parts to size in one pass instead of ripping stock into narrow strips first.

Four-column design for consistent thickness

The cutterhead of the thicknesser travels on four columns, staying rigid and parallel to the table. The result is even thickness along the whole length of the board and far less sanding afterwards.

Depth scale for repeatable settings

A depth-of-cut scale shows exactly how much the DW733-QS will remove on the next pass. The knurled crank handle gives smooth adjustment, with a 2 mm maximum cut for controlled, tear-out-free results.

Long infeed and outfeed tables for support

Generous infeed and outfeed tables support the workpiece before and after the cutterhead, preventing snipe at the ends of the board. Mounting holes in the base let the machine be bolted to a bench or stand for extra stability.
