One squeeze of the handle releases the soil plug.
The GARDENA 3412-20 bulb planter cuts a clean cylindrical hole and lifts the soil plug out in one go, ready to be dropped back over the bulb. A depth scale runs along the barrel, and the body is made of high-quality steel with a Duroplast coating.
Automatic release on the handle
A single hand movement opens the planter and drops the soil, with no need to put the tool down or push the plug out by hand. Your other hand stays free to place the bulb.
Depth scale for accurate planting
Different bulbs call for different depths. The markings on the barrel show exactly how far the tool has gone in, so every hole along the bed comes out the same.
Duroplast-coated steel resists corrosion
The coating repels wet soil and rinses clean after autumn planting sessions. It is the finish GARDENA uses on hand tools meant to stay in the shed for years.
