TOP GARDEN grafting tape is a polypropylene consumable for grafting shears, supplied on a 30 mm x 100 m roll. It is used when grafting fruit trees and vines, wrapping the union and keeping the scion pressed against the rootstock. Being transparent, it lets you check how the union is knitting without unwrapping.

Elastic wrap that keeps the graft under pressure

The film stretches as it is wound and grips the scion and rootstock, keeping the tissues in firm contact. The wrap holds moisture at the cut and shields it from dirt and drying out.

Transparent polypropylene lets light reach the union

The material does not block photosynthesis and leaves no marks on the bark. You can see the state of the union through the wrap, which makes it easy to judge when to remove it.
