BOSCH Professional GMC 600-15 Clamp Meter, True RMS, 600 A / 600 V AC/DC

The BOSCH Professional GMC 600-15 clamp meter reads AC current up to 600 A, AC/DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance up to 40 MΩ and continuity. The jaw closes around an insulated conductor, so readings are taken without interrupting the installation — everyday work for electricians and HVAC technicians. Supplied with MS 90 Professional test leads, two 1.5 V (AA) batteries and a pouch.

True RMS readings on distorted waveforms

Inverter motors, LED drivers and frequency converters distort the waveform, and averaging meters read low. True RMS measurement returns a correct figure on such loads. Basic AC current accuracy is ± 1.8 % + 5 with 0.1 A resolution.

Inverted LCD display for reading inside panels

Large light characters on a dark background stay legible in the poor light of a cabinet or distribution board. The hold function freezes the reading when the meter sits in an awkward spot and the display is out of sight.

IP54 housing, tested for 2 m drops

Site dust and splashing water do not affect operation, and the housing survives accidental drops from up to two metres. CAT III 600 V and CAT IV 300 V safety ratings cover work on distribution installations.

One-handed use and optional magnetic hanging

The compact body and contoured grip allow the jaw to be opened and the range switched with one hand. For hands-free measuring, the MH 1 Professional magnetic hanger is available separately and holds the meter on a metal surface.
