Open-jaw current measurement without breaking the circuit.

The Bosch Professional GFM 1000-15 fork meter is built for electricians and HVAC technicians, measuring AC current up to 200 A, AC/DC voltage up to 1000 V, resistance and continuity. The open jaw slips around a conductor inside a crowded panel, and the kit ships with MS 90 test leads, a pouch and two AA batteries.

Open jaw for fast in-panel current checks

The conductor is captured from the side, with no terminal to unscrew and no leads needed for the current reading. Resolution is 0.1 A with ± 3.0 % + 3 accuracy, and the slim body reaches into densely packed busbars.

True RMS with inverted LCD for top-down reading

Readings stay true on distorted signals from drives and electronic loads. A hold function freezes the value, while integrated LoZ up to 1000 V AC/DC clears ghost voltages on long cable runs.

IP54 housing that survives a 2 m drop

Dust and splashing water do not stop work on site or in a plant room. User protection is rated CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V, and the grip is shaped for extended one-handed use.

Kit with MS 90 test leads and pouch

The silicone MS 90 measuring strips stay flexible even in a cold panel, and the tips stow in the meter itself. It runs on two 1.5 V LR06 (AA) cells or the BA 3.7V 1.0Ah A battery pack and hangs on the MH 1 Professional magnet holder for hands-free work.
