The DEWALT DCL074-XJ cordless LED area light runs on 18V XR batteries and delivers up to 5000 lumens across three brightness settings. It ships as a bare unit — no battery or charger — and draws power from the 18V XR packs you already own.

360° beam with a precision lens for even light

The lens is engineered with 150 flutes that spread the output evenly all around, without hard shadows in the corners. Placed centrally, it replaces several directional floodlights during interior fit-out work.

Three brightness settings — 1500, 3200 and 5000 lm

Switching settings balances output against runtime from one battery: the lower levels suit long stints in one spot, the highest covers large open areas. The 4000 K neutral white colour keeps colours and markings true to life.

Built-in roll cage for jobsite protection

The metal cage wraps around the light module and absorbs knocks from drops or tight working spaces. At 3.91 kg, the unit stands firmly on the floor with no extra support.

Tripod mount and hang hook

Beyond floor use, the light mounts on a lighting tripod or hangs above the work zone to throw light from overhead. Repositioning takes seconds when the work front moves.

Works with every 18V XR battery

Power comes from the 18V XR Li-Ion platform — the larger the pack, the longer the uninterrupted runtime. No battery or charger is included.
