The DeWalt DCE154N-XJ is a brushless cordless copper pipe cutter built for plumbers, heating engineers and HVAC installers, handling pipe from 12 to 35 mm. It runs on the DeWalt 18V XR battery platform and is supplied as a bare tool, without battery or charger.

12 to 35 mm copper pipe, no head changes

The cutting mechanism adapts to the pipe diameter on its own, so you can move from a slim HVAC line to a 35 mm run without hunting for attachments or swapping parts. It handles both hard and soft copper tubing.

Pivoting head for work close to walls and ceilings

The cutting head rotates through 90° relative to the body, letting the cutter reach pipes fitted tight against walls, under floors or in ceilings where a manual cutter is hard to turn. A viewing window and cut-line indicator help you line up each cut precisely.

Cuts in 1.2 seconds, up to 550 cuts per charge

DeWalt rates a 1/2-inch type L copper pipe cut at around 1.2 seconds. With the same pipe and a DCBP034 PowerStack battery, the cutter delivers up to 550 cuts per charge, while the brushless motor keeps battery use efficient through long runs of repetitive cuts.

Variable speed and LED-lit cutting area

The variable speed trigger lets you match cutting speed to the pipe and the position you are working in. Built-in LED lighting with its own on/off control helps in dim shafts, basements and ceiling voids.

Corrosion-resistant mechanism on the 18V XR system

The cutting mechanism uses corrosion-resistant components and a replaceable cutting wheel. The tool runs on any DeWalt 18V XR Li-Ion battery and is TOOL CONNECT chip-ready for tool tracking (chip sold separately).
