KAMININOX Rotating Stainless Steel Chimney Cap Ø130 mm

Harnesses the wind to steady the draught and stop smoke from backing into the room.

The KAMININOX Ø130 mm rotating chimney cap is made entirely of stainless steel and fits onto the chimney outlet or the flue pipe. Its head spins with the passing air flow to help extract flue gases, while the body keeps rain, snow and gusts out of the flue. Overall height is 310 mm.

Spinning head for a steady draught in windy weather

Passing air spins the upper section and creates suction above the flue, which supports even burning of the fuel and better removal of flue gases. According to the manufacturer this cuts fuel consumption and keeps condensation inside the chimney to a minimum.

Stainless steel body against corrosion and high heat

Stainless steel copes with the thermal and mechanical loads of wood heating, as well as with the chemical and weather exposure it faces on the roof. The cap is produced in Bulgaria by KAMININOX.

Fit at least 5 m from the firebox

The manufacturer recommends this distance for the longest life of the rotating mechanism. Assembly involves a 40 mm technological overlap on diameters up to Ø130 mm, worth allowing for when calculating the total flue length.
