The FERRARI 11270 plastic tasting cylinder holds 500 cm³ and is used for drawing and checking samples in home winemaking. Fill it with must, wine or distillate, lower in a hydrometer, vinometer or alcoholmeter and take the reading.
500 cm³ volume for accurate hydrometer readings
The tall body lets the instrument float freely without touching the bottom, which is what makes a reading valid. The sample can go straight back into the demijohn or be discarded without using drinking glasses.
Plastic body built for everyday cellar use
The material survives a drop onto a concrete floor and rinses clean with warm water after every sample. Store it upright next to your demijohns and drums throughout fermentation.
