KAMININOX Anti-Downdraft Chimney Cowl Ф100 mm, Stainless Steel

Finishes the flue outlet and keeps rain, snow and birds out of the chimney.

The KAMININOX anti-downdraft chimney cowl Ф100 mm mounts on the outlet of the flue system of wood, pellet, gas or oil-fired stoves and fireplaces. Its barrel-shaped body limits downdraft and smoke blow-back while helping the flue gases escape. The body is made of stainless steel.

Barrel shape that curbs downdraft

Oncoming wind is deflected by the outer shell instead of pushing into the flue. Draught stays steadier, the fuel burns more completely and condensation inside the chimney is kept to a minimum.

Protection from rain, snow and birds

The top cap closes the opening from above so water and snow cannot enter the duct, while the side gap stays clear for the smoke. Birds can no longer nest inside the flue.

Stainless steel built for the rooftop

Stainless steel handles the thermal load of the flue gases and does not rust under rain and snow. The cowl is manufactured in Bulgaria.

Fits Ф100 mm flue pipes

The cowl slips over a 100 mm flue pipe. The manufacturer recommends fitting it at least 5 m away from the combustion chamber.
