A pack of 100 seals for 29 mm bottle mouths, made for home bottling of sparkling drinks.
FERRARI FE 19359 crown caps measure 29 mm across and come in packs of 100. The 29 mm size is the standard for champagne and sparkling wine bottles, which makes the pack the usual choice for bottle-conditioned fermentation, cider and carbonated drinks. Crimping requires a capper fitted with a 29 mm bell.
29 mm diameter for champagne bottles
Standard beer caps fit a 26 mm mouth and will not seal a sparkling wine bottle. These seals are made for the wider European finish used on champagne-type bottles and on many cider and soda bottles.
Inner liner holds pressure during conditioning
Each cap carries a sealing liner on the inside that keeps carbonation in during bottle conditioning. The material also withstands pasteurisation of up to 20 minutes at 70 °C.
Pack of 100 covers a full batch
The quantity is enough to bottle roughly 75 litres in 0.75 l bottles in one session, with spares for caps damaged while crimping. The seals are single use.
