This Plum-Troyanska brandy essence comes in a 30 ml bottle and gives homemade rakia the recognisable character of Troyan plum. A single bottle covers 30 to 50 litres of finished spirit, depending on how pronounced you want the aroma.
Dosing for 30 to 50 litres of rakia
The essence is added to the finished spirit and stirred until evenly distributed. You dose it to taste within the recommended range: a smaller amount leaves a delicate fruity hint, the full bottle a rounder plum character.
Compact bottle for home distilling
The 30 ml bottle takes up almost no space among your winemaking supplies and can be used in stages if you flavour the spirit batch by batch. It is a concentrated essence, not a ready-to-drink product.
