Aged Grape Rakia Flavouring Essence, 30 ml (item 126409)
30 ml of essence flavours up to 50 litres of home-made rakia.
This aged grape rakia essence is a concentrated 30 ml flavouring used to correct and enrich the aroma of home-distilled grape spirit. It is dosed drop by drop before bottling, with no extra equipment needed.
Dosage: 1 ml per 1–1.5 litres of rakia
One millilitre equals roughly 25–30 drops, so the intensity can be fine-tuned even in small batches. The 30 ml bottle covers approximately 50 litres of spirit.
Test on 2–3 litres before treating the whole batch
The essence is stirred well into the spirit and left for about 24 hours at room temperature, then tasted and topped up if needed. This avoids over-flavouring an entire batch.
Aged grape spirit profile
The aroma targets the mature, rounded character of grape rakia that has spent time in oak. It suits freshly distilled spirit lacking softness and depth.
