The Bosch Professional GTC 12V-450-13 thermal camera turns temperature differences into a colour thermal image on a 2.8" display, covering a range from -20 °C to +450 °C. It is used to trace underfloor heating and heat loss, check HVAC systems, electrical panels and automotive components. Power comes either from a 12 V battery or four AA cells.

256 x 192 px sensor with 50 mK sensitivity

The thermal image is built from 49,152 measuring points, with a temperature resolution of 0.1 °C. Even marginal surface differences — a damp patch, a gap in insulation, a warm terminal — stand out clearly.

Wide 56° x 42° field of view for indoor work

The wide angle captures a whole wall or ceiling from close range — practical in tight rooms, shafts and above suspended ceilings. Minimum focus distance is 0.5 m.

Dual power source: 12 V battery or AA cells

One GBA 12V pack delivers 8 hours of use; four AA cells give 4 hours. A set of AA batteries from any shop keeps measuring going while the pack is on the charger.

IP54 rating and 2 m drop resistance

The housing copes with dust and splashes, and the infrared sensor sits behind a protective flap that closes after measuring. Operating range is -10 °C to +50 °C.

Laser, worklight and picture-in-picture mode

A class 2 laser marks the measuring spot, while the built-in light illuminates dark basements and shafts. The visual camera overlays the real scene on the thermal image, making the saved shots easier to interpret.
