BOSCH Professional D-tect 200 C Detector — Radar Wallscanner

Locates metal, cables, pipes and timber studs up to 200 mm deep and shows the exact depth.

The BOSCH Professional D-tect 200 C is a professional wallscanner that finds objects in concrete, masonry, drywall and floors before drilling or cutting starts. It identifies the material type — live cable, magnetic and non-magnetic metal, non-metallic object — and stores screenshots so every scan can be documented.

Bosch Radar Technology with ± 5 mm accuracy

The sensor combines radar with magnetic induction to pinpoint an object's centre and distance. Depth appears on the display, so you can set a safe drilling depth or verify concrete cover over rebar.

Four views, including Spot View for tight spots

Object view, Spot view, Signal View 2D and Signal View are selected to suit the task. Spot view reads an object from a single position and works where the scanner cannot be moved across the surface — in corners, against frames and above pipe runs.

Seven wall modes — from drywall to early age concrete

Brick/Universal, Concrete, Drywall, Panel Heating, Early age concrete, Horizontal coring brick and Vertical coring brick tune the measurement to the actual structure. Panel Heating covers underfloor and wall heating circuits; Early age concrete handles freshly poured slabs.

Screenshots for documentation via USB-C and SD card

A scan result is saved as an image and transferred to a computer, leaving evidence of the wall's condition before any intervention. The scanner's firmware can be updated.

Runs on a 12 V battery pack or four AA cells

It takes Bosch Professional 12 V Li-Ion packs and switches to four LR6 (AA) cells when the pack is flat. IP 5X dust and splash protection plus a weight of around 0.7 kg suit daily use on site.
