The BOSCH UniversalTemp infrared thermometer measures surface temperatures from -30 °C to +500 °C without contact, with a laser marking the measuring spot. Three material-based measuring modes and a backlit display showing the current and previous reading make it easy to check fridges, ovens, radiators, pipes or window frames. Supplied with 2 AA batteries, ready to use.
From -30 °C to +500 °C for household and technical checks
One tool covers the freezer, the hob, the fireplace and the radiators. Measurement is contactless, so hot or hard-to-reach surfaces can be read from a safe distance.
Three measuring modes for different materials
Different surfaces emit heat differently, so selecting the mode sharpens the reading on metal, glass or plaster. You also switch between single and continuous measurement — the latter helps when scanning a wall for the warmest or coldest spot.
Backlit display with current and previous reading
The segment screen shows both values at once, allowing a direct comparison between two points without writing anything down. The backlight stays legible in a dark basement or beside an oven.
12:1 optics for measuring at a distance
The ratio means that from 120 cm the unit reads a spot roughly 10 cm across — precise enough for a ceiling, a pipe or a radiator without a ladder. The ergonomic pistol-grip body is operated with one finger.
