The BRADAS log splitting wedge is a 230 mm steel wedge weighing 1.5 kg, made for preparing firewood. Driven into a starter crack with a sledgehammer or the back of an axe, it forces the log apart along the grain. It is the tool of choice for thick, knotty rounds where a standard axe binds up.

Steel body built for sledgehammer blows

The BRADAS wedge is made of steel that takes repeated hammer strikes on its head. Its solid body transfers the full force of each blow straight into the wood instead of flexing.

230 mm length for thick logs and stumps

The 230 mm length lets the wedge sink deep enough to spread the log along the whole crack. That makes large-diameter and knotty pieces manageable, even when a single axe swing will not do it.
