The Fiskars X28 splitting axe from the X-Series is built for preparing firewood at home, in the garden or at the cabin. Its M-size blade handles logs 20–30 cm in diameter, while the 74.5 cm length gives a comfortable, accurate swing. A protective blade cover is included for safe storage.

Double-hardened forged blade with low-friction coating

The X28 blade is forged and double-hardened to stay sharp longer. A friction-reducing, rust-resistant coating helps the axe glide into the wood and pull out easily.

FiberComp shaft — light and virtually unbreakable

The head of the X28 is press-fitted to a FiberComp shaft — a tough composite that absorbs impact while staying light in the hand. The balance is tuned so swing power reaches the blade instead of your wrists.

Blade cover included

The X28 comes with a blade cover that protects the edge during storage and transport. Hang the axe in the woodshed or stow it in the boot without risk of cuts.
