Splits logs up to 20 cm in diameter with less effort, thanks to its forged blade and perfect balance.

The Fiskars X24 Splitting Axe from the X-series measures 60 cm and carries a smaller (S) head for splitting small to medium logs of 10–20 cm in diameter. A forged, hardened blade and a FiberComp composite handle keep the axe light to carry and easy to control. A protective blade sheath is included.

The Fiskars X24 is built for small and medium logs of 10–20 cm — exactly the size you burn in a fireplace, stove or fire pit. The wedge-shaped head pushes the wood apart and releases easily, so you keep a steady rhythm without the blade getting stuck.

Forged steel with Fiskars grinding for a sharper edge

The head is forged from hardened carbon steel and ground by Fiskars for a keen cutting edge that bites deep into the fibres. A low-friction coating helps the blade slide out of the wood and protects it against rust.

FiberComp shaft with SoftGrip for a secure hold

The FiberComp composite shaft is ultra-light and tough, and the head is permanently bonded to it so it cannot work loose. A curved shaft end and the SoftGrip surface keep your hand in place even when gloves get damp.
