The Fiskars X13 camping and hiking axe is the lightest model in the X-Series, built for hikes, campsites and quick firewood prep. At 480 g and 330 mm long, the X13 rides easily in a backpack or on a belt, and its balance lets you chop confidently with one hand.

Ultralight for all-day pack carry

The Fiskars X13 weighs 480 g, some 15% less than the compact axes in the X-Series. That is the difference between an axe you leave in the car and one you actually carry on a multi-day trek.

Double-hardened blade with low-friction coating

A forged, double-hardened steel blade holds its edge and bites cleanly into wood. The low-friction coating helps the blade glide through the fibres and adds rust protection after use in damp conditions.

Sheath with belt loop and locking mechanism

The included sheath has a belt loop and a secure lock, so the X13 travels safely and detaches in one motion. The flat back of the head works for driving tent pegs.

FiberComp handle for strength and visibility

The FiberComp handle is exceptionally tough and absorbs impact shock so your hand stays fresh. Its bright orange finish is easy to spot if the axe is set down in grass or leaf litter around camp.
