The TOPMASTER 381323 axe is a chopping hand tool with an 850 mm overall length and a hardened C45 steel blade. Its polyamide-fibreglass handle absorbs impact and keeps a firm hold in the hand. It suits limbing, clearing woody growth and preparing firewood around the yard and garden.
Hardened C45 steel blade for clean chopping
The TOPMASTER axe blade is made of C45 steel hardened to 47–51 HRC (a metal hardness scale), so the cutting edge keeps its shape when it strikes hard wood. The sharpened edge bites deep and needs fewer swings when splitting firewood.
Polyamide-fibreglass handle that absorbs the shock
The two-component handle combines polyamide with fibreglass, so it will not dry out or work loose like wood and it damps the shock of each strike. Its shaped grip stays secure even with work gloves on.
850 mm length for a two-handed swing
At 850 mm overall length, the TOPMASTER axe is swung with both hands, letting you work upright instead of stooping over the log. A weight of about 1.13 kg balances striking force with control during longer sessions in the yard.
