The TOPMASTER 381342 hatchet is a compact straight-blade axe built to DIN 5131, with a 370 mm overall length and a 600 g head. The bit is forged from C45 steel hardened to 47–51 HRC and the handle combines polyamide with fibreglass. It suits kindling, limbing and light splitting jobs in the yard, at the woodshed or on a camping trip.

Hardening in this range keeps the cutting edge sharp when splitting seasoned wood and takes well to a file or whetstone. The 155 mm wide head delivers enough wedging action for kindling and thin rounds.
Polyamide and fibreglass handle that never dries out
The composite shaft absorbs part of the impact shock and will not shrink or loosen in outdoor storage the way a wooden handle can. Its profile is shaped for a secure one-handed grip and the head is factory-fitted.
370 mm length and a 0.6 kg head for easy carrying
The format fits a car boot, a rucksack or a tool box and stays controllable when you work in tight spaces. Compliance with DIN 5131 defines the shape and dimensions of the head.
