The MAROSA axe with wooden handle is a hand tool for splitting and chopping firewood around the yard, garden or holiday home. The hardened steel head weighs 2000 g and the 900 mm overall length allows a full two-handed swing. It follows the DIN 7294 pattern, the classic profile for splitting wood.
2000 g head splits logs in fewer strokes
The MAROSA axe carries a 2000 g head with a wedge-shaped profile that drives the wood apart along the grain. The mass does much of the work, so knotty pieces give in after fewer strokes.
900 mm wooden handle for a two-handed grip
The 900 mm wooden handle lets you work with both hands while standing upright, so there is less bending over the chopping block. Wood absorbs part of the impact vibration and stays comfortable to hold in cold weather.
