Forged steel head to DIN 5131-B for a lasting edge
The CONMETALL axe head is forged from steel to the DIN 5131-B standard (the European specification for axe shape and quality) and finished with a polished cutting edge. The polished edge bites into wood more easily and is simple to touch up when needed.
Ash handle, double-wedged into the head
The handle is made of ash, a springy wood that absorbs part of the impact instead of your hand. The head is double-wedged, keeping the axe firmly assembled through regular use.
