Makita XGT 191E07-8 (DC40RA) Rapid Charger, 40V max
Dual-fan active cooling keeps the pack in its optimum temperature range throughout the charge cycle.
The Makita DC40RA (191E07-8) is the rapid charger for the XGT 40V max battery platform. It has a single slot, runs off 230 V mains and refills a pack in 22 to 76 minutes depending on its capacity.
A 2.5 Ah pack ready in 28 minutes
A BL4020 is back in 22 minutes, a BL4040 in 45, and the large BL4080F in 76. Rotate two packs and the job never stops for power.
Two fans cool the cells while charging
Airflow pulls heat out of the pack as it charges, so a battery that comes straight off the tool goes on charge immediately instead of resting first.
Chip-to-chip communication during charging
The unit reads cell voltage, current and temperature and adapts the process to what the pack actually needs, which protects usable capacity over hundreds of cycles.
Dedicated to the XGT 40V max platform
The slot accepts XGT batteries: BL4020, BL4025, BL4040, BL4050F and BL4080F. LXT 18 V packs need the separate ADP10 adapter.
