The DeWalt DCBP518H2-XJ POWERSTACK set pairs two 18V 5.0Ah Li-Ion packs built around flat pouch cells instead of conventional cylindrical ones. Both batteries run every tool and charger in the DeWalt 18V XR system, and each pack carries its own state-of-charge gauge.
Pouch cells deliver 50% more power than DCB184
The flat cell stack holds higher voltage under load, so cutting, drilling and fastening move faster. DeWalt rates the pack at over 50% more work per charge than the DCB184.
Twice the charge-cycle lifetime
DeWalt quotes double the charge cycles of the DCB184. For daily professional use that means replacing the pair far less often.
Works across the whole 18V XR system
The packs mount on every DeWalt 18V XR tool and charger in a range of more than 250 machines. No charger is supplied with this set.
Rubber overmoulded base resists impact and slipping
An impact-resistant, non-marring overmould protects the base and keeps the pack steady on smooth surfaces. One press on the fuel gauge shows the remaining charge.
