The DEWALT POWERSTACK DCBP518-XJ is an 18V 5Ah lithium-ion pack that runs the entire DEWALT 18V XR tool and charger line-up. Instead of conventional cylindrical cells it uses stacked pouch cells, which deliver higher output from a smaller housing. Built for daily professional use.
Pouch cells deliver 50% more power
Flat cells stacked tightly on top of each other cut internal resistance and push current harder into the tool. DEWALT also quotes over 50% more work per charge compared with the DCB184 pack.
Compact body for tight spaces
At around 0.75 kg the pack is noticeably smaller than a conventional 5Ah battery. The tool stays balanced during overhead work and fits between studs or inside cabinets.
Works across the full 18V XR system
The pack mounts on every DEWALT 18V XR tool and charger without an adapter. A three-LED fuel gauge shows the remaining charge at the press of a button.
