The IDEA TREMITI concrete barbecue is a fixed garden grill built from refractory concrete, complete with chimney hood, front worktop and a wood storage bay in the base. The firebox burns charcoal or logs, and the 67x40 cm chrome grill sits at three different heights. It ships in modules for on-site assembly.
Three grill heights for different foods
The chrome grill slides up and down so you control the heat: low for a fast sear on steaks, high for gentler cooking of vegetables or chicken. The total cooking surface of 2680 cm² serves nine to eleven guests.
Refractory concrete, chimney and 211 cm overall height
Firebox and worktop are made of refractory material, while the hood, flue and wood bay are cast in concrete conglomerate. The chimney draws smoke upwards and keeps the temperature steady around the food.
Front worktop and charcoal bay in the base
The front shelf extends the working area right next to the fire, keeping plates, seasonings and tongs within reach. The open base bay holds bags of charcoal, kindling and split logs.
On-site assembly and exterior protective coating
The modules arrive flat-packed and are bonded with adhesive or mortar on a level base; assembly takes over 90 minutes and is a two-person job given the 446 kg weight. The maker recommends finishing the surface with a water-repellent exterior or quartz paint, which also lets you match the colour to your garden.
